Simon Peres Biography - The ninth President of Israel - Shimon Peres was born on August 2, 1923 (a few sources say August 16, 1923), in Wieniawa, Poland (now Vishniev, Belarus). In 1997, he got to be acting executive when Yitzhak Rabin ventured down. Peres was chosen the Prime Minister of Israel under it National Unity Government in 1984. In 1994 he co-won a Nobel Peace prize for arranging the Oslo Accords with Rabin and Arafat. He was chosen president of Israel in 2007.

In May 1945, Peres wedded Sonya Gelman, whom he had met in the Ben Shemen Youth Village, where her dad served as a carpentry educator. The couple wedded after Sonya completed her military administration as a truck driver in the British Army amid World War II. During that time Sonya avoided the media and keep her protection and the security of her family, regardless of her spouse's broad political vocation. With the decision of Peres for president, Sonya Peres, who had not needed her spouse to acknowledge the position, reported that she would stay in the couple's condo in Tel Aviv and not go along with her spouse in Jerusalem. The couple from that point lived separately.[51] She kicked the bucket on 20 January 2011, matured 87, from heart disappointment at her condo in Tel Aviv.


Shimon and Sonya Peres had three youngsters:

A little girl, Dr. Tsvia ("Tsiki") Valdan, a language specialist and educator at Beit Berl Academic College;

A senior child, Yoni, executive of Village Veterinary Center, a veterinary healing facility on the grounds of Kfar Hayarok Agricultural School close Tel Aviv. He spends significant time in the treatment of aide canines;

A more youthful child, Nehemia ("Chemi"), Co-originator/Managing General Partner of Pitango Venture Capital, one of Israel's biggest investment funds.[53] Chemi Peres is a previous helicopter pilot in the IAF.
