Choi Si Won was scouted by an ability operators from SM Entertainment when he was 16 as he was sitting tight for companions before his secondary school. The operators prescribed him to try out for the organization's Starlight Casting System. He tried out without his guardian's endorsement; his guardians were told strictly when he passed the tryouts. In spite of the fact that his guardians permitted him to sign an agreement with SM Entertainment, they didn't give him any assistance in light of the fact that they needed him to assume liability for his activities.
